OEM-Compatible Replacement: Direct replacement for MasterCraft part number 554412; designed for 2005–2011 swivel board racks on models like X-1, X-2, X-7, X-9, X-10, X-30, X-45, and X-Star.

Controls Rack Swivel Function: Tightens or loosens the board rack to enable rotation when the quick-release handle is pulled; one knob is used per rack.

Includes Separate Threaded Stud: Supplied with an uninstalled threaded stud; installer must apply red threadlocker during assembly to secure the stud inside the knob.

Compatible with Existing Studs: If the original stud is still intact, this aluminum knob can be used alone—simply apply red threadlocker and install onto the existing stud.

Durable Marine-Grade Construction: Machined aluminum knob offers long-lasting performance and corrosion resistance in harsh boating environments.

This board rack knob with threaded stud is a direct replacement for MasterCraft OEM part number 554412. It is used on factory-installed rotating swivel board racks found on MasterCraft boats manufactured from 2005 to 2011, including models such as the X-1, X-2, X-7, X-9, X-10, X-30, X-45, and X-Star. The knob controls the swivel function of the board rack—when loosened, it allows the rack to rotate outward once the quick-release handle is pulled; when tightened, it locks the rack in place during operation. Each board rack uses one knob, and they are sold individually. This part includes a separate threaded stud, which must be installed by the user. The stud is not pre-installed or threadlocked, as it needs to remain removable during installation. After fitting the stud into the rack and aligning the knob, apply a red threadlocking compound to secure the stud inside the aluminum knob for long-term durability. In some cases, the existing threaded stud on your board rack may still be intact. If so, this replacement aluminum knob is fully compatible with the original stud, and only the knob itself needs to be installed. Simply apply red threadlocker to the stud and thread the new knob on securely. Whether you’re replacing both parts or just the knob, this component restores proper swivel function and maintains the reliability of your board rack system.
